Standard on most VIERA TVs, Eco Mode uses a photo sensor to measure the ambient light in the room, then adjusts the panel's brightness accordingly.

Panasonic is the first manufacturer in the world to develop an alternative to lead, enabling us to eliminate this harmful substance from our VIERA Plasma models.

Energy-Saving Eco Link

Panasonic's advanced VIERA Link function has been developed to include environmentally friendly funstions.

For example, the energy-saving Eco Link can put all connected Panasonic devices into sleep mode when they are not in use.

Working together with HDMI, VIERA Link gives you control over all compatible Panasonic devices from a single remote.

You can automatically turn off all connected Panasonic devices or start up your entire home cinema system, using the VIERA TV remote control and user-friendly on-screen menu.

Eco Mode, Saving Energy

To improve on the environmental impact of power consumption, Panasonic has introduced an Eco Mode as standard in most of its VIERA TVs.

By activating the Eco Mode, a photo sensor measures the ambient light conditions of the room and the picture settings adjust automatically.
