Choosing the right TV stand

Furniture to compliment your new Panasonic flat panel tv can be an important addition to your living space.

It's a difficult task to balance value, aesthetics and practical use. You may be looking for a furniture TV stand that is contemporary in design yet is easy to use in the home.

On the other hand your choice may be to go for something that mixes materials and contrasting colours, for example a Plasma TV combined with a glass open shelf or an LCD TV and a tv stand that has maximum versatility with a solid black beautiful real wood finish.

What to look for when choosing the right tv stand

Good planning is a key to choosing the right tv stand. Consider the space in which your TV stand will be situated. Make sure you cover all angles, width and dimensions.

Another important factor is weight, make sure the tv stand you choose can accommodate the width and weight of your LCD and Plasma TV. Take your time and compare tv stands carefully to ensure you choose the right one for you.

Panasonic 3D Camcorder HDC-SDT750

As a result of research conducted in collaboration with Hollywood film studios over the years, earlier this year, Panasonic announced a professional 3D broadcast camera and succeeded in bringing high-quality FULL HD 3D images to the home for viewing on 3D compatible TVs.

Thanks to these groundbreaking developments, Panasonic is now pleased to announce the world's first* consumer 3D camcorder, the HDC-SDT750, which allows 3D images to be recorded at home.

Incorporating Panasonic broadcast technology, this new 3MOS camcorder lets users easily create their own 3D movies, something that only professional image producers were previously able to do. Combined with a VIERA 3DTV and Blu-ray Disc™ player/recorder, the SDT750 makes it possible to save precious memories of friends and family in vivid, lifelike images, to further expand the world of 3D enjoyment at home.

*As a consumer camcorder with 3D conversion lens for the AVCHD standard (1 July 2010).
