No HDD or SD Memory Card Camcorder?

No problem, just use a DV cable and simply connect your digital video camera to the DV input terminal of your DIGA. There is no easier way to store and enjoy your home movies on a big screen!

Similarly, as almost all DIGA models are now equipped with an SD Memory Card or USB terminal, any digital camera that uses an SD Memory Card or comes with a USB cable can be easily connected to your recorder to store or play a dazzling display of photos through a personalised big screen.

Jukebox with Gracenote (CD Database)

Data from music CDs and USB devices can easily be transferred to the DIGA hard disk drive. It supports gracenote, so titles and artist names are automatically saved together with the music CD data.

It also supports the ID3Tag title information that is embedded in MP3 music data. The new DIGA is like a jukebox filled with your favourite music.

Quick Start Recording...

How many times have you been watching the TV and suddenly thought you needed to record the current scene, pressed the 'REC' button then waited 20 seconds or more for your VHS or DVD Recorder to actually start recording?

Well, not any more. Panasonic's DIGAs are equipped with a high-speed Quick Start functionality whereby the DVD-RAM discs and Hard Disk Drive are ready to record just one second after switching on the power.

Just press the 'REC' button and your DIGA will immediately begin recording the on-screen action, meaning you'll never miss the scenes you want to catch again.

A Personal Slideshow with Music

Entertain friends and family with slideshows of your favourite JPEG photos whether they are stored on an SD Memory Card, Hard Disk, CD, DVD-R/-RAM or USB device. You can also add your personal music soundtrack from a hard disk or USB device, depending on the DIGA model.

Kelton Subwoofer for Powerful Bass

Thanks to the Kelton subwoofer, Panasonic home cinema systems deliver rich, deep bass that makes viewing films on Blu-ray Disc or DVD a truely thrilling experience.

The Kelton subwoofer features two internal chambers - a drive unit in the rear chamber vibrates the front chamber, causing a large 25cm passive radiator in the front chamber to produce deep bass.

Because the front chamber functions as an acoustic filter, there is minimal unwanted noise.

The thinness and high compliance of the passive radiator help achieve an extremely clean, powerful and responsive bass sound.
